i have not upgraded to the 405 yet but did run into some trouble with my 305 battery. it wouldn’t hold a charge either. i sent it to garmin as they requested had it back in less that a week and have not had any trouble since. The battery for the Forerunner 405 lasts for several years. If your battery needs replacement contact the local Garmin repair facility

No, it is illegal for them to be on after the fact (meaning they already sold you the car). I have heard of Motorcycle and some car dealerships doing that so if one get’s stolen off the lot they can get it back, but they are required by law to remove all products that disclose personal information without the owner knowing. Technically, unless the “boss” says to the customer, “there is a tracking device on this car”, then the dealership could get in a huge amount of trouble.

While running my heart hate is displayed on the Forerunner, using the HR monitor. After my run, however, how can I look up information regarding what my avg. HR was during the run, highest, lowest, etc? Please be as detailed as possible!

I’m confused. Just simply go to the history and view the workout that you did. It will show the avg/highest/lowest. You can also view everything on your computer if you download to it.

I am assuming that you did start and stop the Garmin before and after your run.

These things are amazing.. if u are sketchy of the site u shouldn’t be because you can order through paypal and they back you up 100%. I have since had 10 friends order them also cause they loved em so much. The company is in California. It was shipped from Corona to my house in 3 days. I just named very little features this thing does.. they are amazing.

I was referred to them when I was asking about GPS units on yahoo answers about a month ago when I was looking for one for my GF.

Oh yes ! I really like my Garmin Forerunner 305. It syncs up quickly for me and I have had no problems using it in cloudy weather. the chest strap is comfy and easily adjustable. The only thing that bothers me is that it rubs on my wrist bone – but then again I am rather bony, so I use a wrist sweat gard and that takes care of that! I purchased mine online on sale for $ 150.00.
